WHAT’S ON: Flag-Raising Event at the NSW State Correctional Museum in Cooma to celebrate the beginning of Pride Month.
A casual afternoon gathering will be an opportunity to:
* Bring together local LGBTQIA+ people and the wider community
* Raise the LGBTQIA+ Pride Flag in The Museum courtyard
* Commemorate the history of the Cooma Gaol and its dark past as an institution for homosexual men, non-binary people, and transgender women from 1957-1984
* Celebrate the beginning of Pride Month over a cup of tea/coffee and some shared snacks
