Mitchell Power Memorial Quick Shear 2022
The first Annual Mitchell Power Memorial Quick Shear to be held in Bombala on the 18th of June 2022.

Saturday 18th June at the Imperial Hotel Bombala –
Don’t let the weather deter you, we have a large undercover area and fire buckets to keep spectators dry and warm if necessary.
The sheep are ready to go, we have beautiful composites ready to be shorn.Last minute nominations are at 10am and shearing will commence at 11am sharp.
There is a Calcutta for open finalists. Prize money to 3rd place and a prize for 4th place.
The novelty event will be held during the lunch break- this will be teams of 3 people.Anyone can enter, but one person per team must be a shearer.
Entry fee is $10 per person and the winning team will take all entry money.
Person 1 must eat a dry Weetbix
Person 2 must scull a Carlton Draught Long Neck
Person 3 must shear a sheep
Fastest team wins
Gold Coin Donation upon entry: proceeds will go to our chosen charities.
Raffle tickets available with amazing prizes. $2 per ticket or 3 for $5.
Merchandise available for purchase from 11am includes Shearing Singlets, Hoodies, Trucker Caps, Keyrings and Stickers.
Club Bombala have a live band playing after the Quick Shear is finished, so head down for a dance and a drink.
Accomodation in Bombala is currently all booked out, but if you need somewhere to stay please message us and we will do our best to help you find something.Come along and help us celebrate Mitch’s birthday and a great day of shearing.
