The Dalgety Team Penning horse riding event is run by the Dalgety Show Society on the Saturday and is an event the whole family can enjoy.

The Team Penning event involves a team of four riders, three of which must cut three head of cattle with the same colour neck collar from the herd of 21 cattle in a yard.

The Snowy River Shears shearing competition will also be held on the Saturday. Barbecue and bar facilities will also be operating.

The Snowy River Saddle Up Sunday will be held the next day. There will be ‘horsey’ fun for the whole family to enjoy. Entries can be made on the day.
