Where: South Gate, Cooma
Park at the top of Hain Street and walk along the “foot pad” to the South Gate entrance planting site OR
Park at the Scout Hall (Babin Place) and walk along the track past the Scout Hall and head downhill.
Friends of North Ridge Reserve with the support of Cooma Landcare are holding their 2nd planting day at the South Gate entrance of North Ridge Reserve this Saturday 10 February commencing 9am (this will be instead of our usual Saturday afternoon working bee).
These Cooma North Ridge Planting Days are great for all the family – so kids bring your parents/carers along to supervise you and enjoy a day out with your local community!
Wear: sturdy footwear, gardening attire, gloves, sun hat and sunscreen.
Bring: drinking water and a trowel if you have one. (Mattocks also would be most handy on the prep days.)
Learn about the native plants that grow on the ridge and the regenerative activities that are on the go to care for this unique local environment.
