In its 19th year, there is a thrilling line up of racing, competition and fun for school age mountain bike riders. The Interschools Championships are a great way for riders to compete in a fun and supportive environment with a suitable mix of events across the weekend.

Open to all students enrolled in schools throughout Australia, the 2016 MTB Interschools Championships will feature Downhill , Cross-Country and Dual Compressor events. results from each event will be combined to reveal the best riders in each age division and gender. These riders will be named the kings and queens of the mountain in each division.

There are additional participation events designed to help riders develop their all round riding skills. The fast and flowing Pump Track Challenge is back again and new for 2016, we have introduced a fun sprint Cross Country teams event on the Thursday evening. During the event there will be a free sausage sizzle for all registered competitors and our event office will remain open until 6pm that evening to allow competitors to collect their event registration pack for the MTB Interschools event.

The 2016 event will again have an age division for primary school competitors. Referred to as Division 4, the mini riders will compete in Dual Compressor, Pump Track Challenge and a shortened version of Cross Country.
