How to restore woodland bird habitat

WHAT’S ON

What birds are visiting your property? And how can you encourage more?

Spring is a great time to get into the field, discover what birds live in your local area and learn what you can do to make your property a better habitat for them.

After a morning of bird watching, explore what different species need to thrive and look at practical ways you can improve woodland habitat, connectivity and biodiversity on your land.

This event is for any landholder who wants to understand how to improve woodland habitats on their land. Topics for the day include:

• the different groups of birds and their habitat requirements
• the importance of connectivity in the landscape
• how to assess your own property for its habitat value
• the actions you can take to improve habitat on your land
• the broader benefits of restoring habitat.
