Southern Corroboree Frog Feed and Ranger Talk
WHAT:
This 30-minute session at the Snowy Region Visitor Centre begins with an interactive talk with a Discovery ranger. You’ll learn about the fascinating southern corroboree frog and the important conservation work helping to protect this endangered species.
Then, get an up-close look at our local crew of southern corroboree frogs. These vibrant amphibians are part of Taronga Zoo’s successful conservation breeding program. Watch them thriving in their specialised habitat and see them being fed a cricket nymph meal.
Once the frogs are full, you can take part in a hands-on craft activity. Create your own frog origami or enjoy colouring in themed artwork to take home as a souvenir. It’s a fun way for all ages to learn about local wildlife before you visit Kosciuszko National Park.
