Platypus Month – Volunteer spotters

WHAT: As the days shorten and the weather cools- excitement mounts as Platypus Month draws near.

This year it will be bigger and better than ever including not only our regular surveys but also:

-Platypus Walks

Bredbo (1 August, 4pm  Two Rivers Wattle Park Drive)

Cooma (9 August, 3pm Cooma Creek North Ridge Reserve)

 

A free cinema screening of the Platypus Guardian with Q&A with the guardian himself Peter Walsh (18 August, 6pm), everyone is welcome- invite a friend!

Cooma Creek- new survey location at North Ridge Reserve (Tuesdays)

4 August- 6:30am

11 August- 4:00pm

18 August- 6:00am

25 August- 4:00pm

 

Murrumbidgee River at Mittagang Crossing (Fridays)

7 August- 6:30am

14 August- 4:00pm

21 August- 6:00am

28 August- 4:00pm
