WHAT’S ON: The Snow Summit is Snow Resorts Australia’s flagship national industry event, bringing together resort leaders, industry, sport, operators, suppliers, government, chambers and experts for two days of learning, collaboration and sector-wide planning.
To be held in Thredbo on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th May 2026 this will be the inaugural Snow Summit, with the intention for it to become an annual gathering of the Australian snow industry.
The event will focus on the future of the sector – with themes around visitor experience, economic development, participation, workforce, technology, sustainability and climate adaptation.
The Summit provides a structured environment for meaningful conversation, practical best practice sharing and the advancement of national initiatives including the launch of the industry’s National Winter Economic Significance study, and the refreshed Alpine Responsibility Code
