27/08/2025-28/08/2025, All DayCommunity Meetings – Snowy and upper Murrumbidgee Rivers Environmental Flows
WHAT’S ON: The NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water will again be holding meetings along the Snowy and upper Murrumbidgee Rivers to meet with local stakeholders and community members. These meetings provide an opportunity for the community to learn more about the environmental flows program, the benefits, who is involved and the safety management processes. This year, the meetings will be held in Cooma (focusing on the upper Murrumbidgee river) and Jindabyne (focusing on the Snowy River). Following the presentations there will be a Q&A session and time to allow the community to provide feedback on the programs including local insights, the benefits and impacts of the flows.
