Come along to Bombala for Platypus Weekend to celebrate the natural abundance of our elusive waterway critter.

Friday 24 November

10am – 11.30am | Platypus Craft & Story time (Free workshop) – Bombala Library RSVP

2pm – 3pm | Platypus Pilates (Free workshop) – Bicentennial Park RSVP

1.30pm & 4pm | Platypus Walk & Talk, with Cooma Waterwatch – Meet at the Bombala Information Centre. Insight into Platypus and useful spotting tips. RSVP

Saturday 25 November

8am – 2pm | Platypus Day at Bombala & District Chamber Riverside Markets.

Bicentennial Park, Mahratta Street Bombala. Activities: Magician, Live music Frock‘n‘Troll, National Park Roving Ranger, food van food vans and stalls and stalls.

9am | Platypus Painting with Netty – RSVP essential, $10 booking fee

10am – 3pm | Railway Open Day  

2pm | Lavender Distillery demonstration – The Goods Shed, Railway precinct RSVP for a seat  

Sunday 26 November

Put your newfound spotting tips to use and record any Platypus sightings.

Register interest in joining a casual group bike ride along the river.

Free activities and workshops will be running throughout the weekend and during the Bombala & District Chamber Riverside Markets.
