The Historic Bredbo Inn Hometown Throwdown Campfire Cookoff

Time to iron your aprons, dig through your recipes, gather some mates and have a great day around the fire while cooking up a storm and have the opportunity to win some amazing prizes!

When: Saturday 26th August 2023

Time: Cooking starts @ 10.30am , Gold Coin Sampling @ 3pm & Judging 3.30pm.

Where: The Historic Bredbo Inn

Cost: $15 Entrance Fee, Teams can consist of 1 – 4 people

What to bring: Entrants must supply their own cooking gear- camp oven, utensils and ingredients etc.

The Historic Bredbo Inn will supply: The coals and the dirt to dig a hole, a guest judge to select 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Winner, and a People’s Choice Award.

There will be gold coin donations for dish sampling @ 3pm. All proceeds to be directed to Bredbo Rural Fire Brigade

Throughout the day there will be: Bredbo Bucket Throwing Competition and a Wife Carrying Race.
