So maybe 2021’s version of the signs on trucks should say:

IF THE TRUCKS STOP – AUSTRALIA STOPS

IF THE WOMEN STOP – THE TRUCKS STOP

This third Heavy Vehicle Forum conducted by Snowy Monaro Regional Council is one way of highlighting the role that women are playing, and have played in keeping this industry moving.

Speakers will include Paul Toole, NSW Minister for Regional Transport and Roads, Jacquelene Brotherton Chair of Women in Transport and Bethany Magill from A & R Magill Transport in Parkes.

Other presenters will highlight the role of women in areas of policy and practice.
