Whilst Clare Valley is home you can visit Shut The Gate Winery in Berridale in the Snowy Mountains.   A tranquil little spot between Cooma and Jindabyne you can enjoy a beautiful platter for lunch.  There are plenty of different wines to choose from and they offer online and cellar door sales.
