Snowy Monaro International Women’s Day Celebration – Delegate

nowy Monaro Regional Council is partnering with the Delegate Progress Association to host the region’s 2018 International Women’s Day event.

This event will be held on Tuesday 13 March at the Delegate School of Arts Hall from 10:30am. Women from all over the region will come together for dynamic speakers, great food, information and retail stalls.

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is #pressforprogress, emphasising the ongoing pay gap between men and women.

The event will include the International Women’s Day Awards 2018. These awards recognise the contribution of women in our region.

Nominations are now open for:
> Business Woman of the Year
> Community Member/ Volunteer of the Year
> Employee of the Year
> Young Woman of the Year (25 and under)

Nomination forms are now available from the all Council offices, Platypus Country Visitor Information Centre, Delegate RTCT Centre, and Tubbut Neighbourhood Centre.

Email your nominations to MRI@snowymonaro.nsw.gov.au, or drop them into a Council office.

Council is also seeking expressions of interest for stallholders. Interested parties should contact Community Development ATTN: IWD Stalls at MRI@snowymonaro.nsw.gov.au or on 1300 345 345 (ask for a Community Development Planner).
