Thredbo has been home to a National Mountain Biking Series stop for over 20 years now and Summer 2016/17 Thredbo will be hosting the Downhill (DH) event. Racing on the famous Cannonball Downhill, this event tests riders and pushes them to their technical and physical limits. With the chairlift to take you to the top, there is plenty of riding to fit into the weekend. Riders will be looking to gain series points to keep their season rolling into the series finals and National Champs. The young up and comers are there have some fun with their mates while the pros are all race face as they compete to race internationally. This is a UCI event for elite men and women, all riding it out for points to take them to the world stage.
