Creative Resilience Writing Workshops

The Creative Resilience Project is a response to the Black Summer bushfires of 2019-2020. The project will blend wellbeing with creative writing to give our community the tools they may need to work through the experiences of the Black Summer bushfires. Creative writing has been identified as a positive tool for individuals who have experienced trauma, and can ease stress and anxiety. The habit of writing can assist individuals to process the event/s, and to regulate their emotions. Prioritising our wellbeing is important, now more so than ever. By providing our community with resources to create a strong sense of wellbeing, we can improve and enhance resilience and mental health now and into the future. By blending wellbeing techniques with creative writing, our community can develop and increase mental and creative tenacity.
