Patches of morning frosts in the north with a 50% chance of showers in the east. Snow is possible above 1200 metres. Winds are westerly 40 to 60 km/h.

CHARLOTTE PASS The snow is 75cm deep with a layer of powder. 4 lifts are operating. Expect high wind gusts and a maximum of -1degree so it’s important to rug up!

PERISHER There are wild conditions at the resort this morning with strong winds and cold temperatures but conditions are set to improve as the day goes on. 40 lifts will operate to take you to the 64 groomed slopes. The maximum will be 1 degree today.

THREDBO Snow is still falling at the top of the mountain with 30cm of powder added to the cover since Friday. 13 lifts will take you to the slopes which have been groomed overnight. Visibility is reduced and you will need to rug up

SELWYN SNOW RESORT Across the resort 5 lifts and the tobogganing park are all open, ready for your slides down the mountain! Snow cover is dry and powdery, with a fresh cover. Snow possible above 1200 metres. Winds westerly 40 to 60 km/h turning south westerly in the early afternoon.

Cross Country Another wild and woolly day! Rug up. There have been another 7cm of snow overnight. The groomer is working to give you some great trails for those venturing out today.


Kosciuszko Road: Slush on the road from Wilsons Valley to Perisher.
Alpine Way: Road open to Thredbo. Chains are required from Thredbo to the Loading Ramp.
Snowy Mountains Hwy: Chains are required from Connors Hill to Yarrangobilly Caves. Unsuitable for heavy vehicles without chains.
Guthega Road: Chains are required from Kosciuszko Road to the Resort
Elliot Way: Snow on the road. Chains are required.
Khancoban – Cabramurra Road: Closed for the Season
Monaro Highway/Brown Mountain: no information at this time
